I still keep in touch with my long time friend Lynn Goegan. We hung out as kids growing up at Galt Central School. Lots of great memories of our close knit group of friends. Shared many adventures together back when you swam in Mill Creek and were not afraid to bike out to Pinehurst and Puslinch Lake. Time marched on and I moved to BC and Lynn to Sturgeon Falls Ontario. Lynn married and raised a family with Gary Goegan another school chum from Hespeler. Seventy years and one day Lynn sent me this. Her first work of folk art. Now she was known at the rug nut and did many works expressing her inner most interest and activity. Her three dogs birds and parrots was guite the urban animal rescue homes group. She sent this note post with the image. Funny I woke up one day and tried to paint. When I was done I looked at it and said I think I can paint. So funny. I totally agree!
