These two stone commercial buildings on the south side of Queen's Square are collectively known as Hume's Block. They are the oldest surviving buildings in the square, outlasting landmarks like Scott's Opera House and the Queen's Hotel. The one on the right, with its unique 3rd storey balcony,was built for Richard Irwin in 1837, whose grocery store ended Absalom Shade's retail monopoly in the burgeoning town of Galt. Hespeler Village Music Festival 26th festival is July 5th 10am-10pm in Forbes Park 16 Kribs Street, Cambridge. All day we have vendors, food trucks and beverage tent, our family hour is 10am-3pm, lots of kids activities, games, prizes and entertainment then we turn it over to the adults, entertainment. A great road trip with lots of historic settings is found in here in southwest Ontario Otterville. Was one of the first Mills in Ontario and has lots of history about the underground Railroad and the early war of 1812. The falls has a user friendly walking trail and enjoyable places to sit and take in the scenery.
I love the falls and it's a great place to have a simple picnic nosh. 2

The nice weather start to summer means it's bbq time again. One of my favourites is a bbq grilled ceasar salad with a well marbled angus New York strip steak with garlicky mushroom caps and a juicy beefsteak tomato with fresh dill, olive oil and parmesan cheese grilled alongside he steak. Let's Eat
A simple Ceasar salad dressing brushed on a split head of romain grilled hot. 3
