Great Blue Herons can likely be found along the Speed and Grand Rivers in Cambridge as well as trees by the bodies of water. Holiday weekends tend to be quieter and with rather cloudy skies I ventured out and found this gorgeous blue heron along the river in the Galt core

I often walk the trail from the Galt Rowing Club to the lands of the RARE reserve. High above the Grand River,perched on its highest branches you may see bald eagles,red tailed and Coopers hawks,double crested cormorants, or Osprey sometimes pruning

You may see Osprey nest atop light standards throughout Cambridge,some even high above ball diamonds in city parks. Usually nesting nearby water sources. This one takes a quick stop to eye the waters at Parkhill Dam. To see them hover is stunning .

Hello everybody, I'm new here. Last Wednesday I was going to Fairview mall and I saw these two Canadian Geese trying to waddle cross the street. They tried they're best to waddle on their way but, they couldn't do it, so they took off and flew away. So, enjoy my last week's picture.
