Saw this snapping turtle lasting it's eggs. Likely had a dozen already when I got there. In a span of about 25 minutes I watched as another fifteen eggs were laid.
Snapping turtle eggs hatch late fall but some hatchlings will overwinter and wait until spring to crawl out.
