Most recently known as the longtime home of the popular costume shop Maskerade Manor, Henry's Block is a commercial building in Hespeler Village that dates back to 1901. This heavily-mortared limestone building, with it's straightforward, Georgian revival facade, was constructed for local businessman John Henry. It replaced some earlier shops he owned, which dated back to 1866. John operated a bakery and grocery store on-site while renting out other retail space. He was also a farmer and once owned the former farm of Jacob Hespeler, which later became the local landmark Forbes Estate.
