The Shady Rest. The food at this family run Eatery have some long time employees that have been rehearsing the service and recipes for decades. On each and every visit the food was exactly the same as the last visit. All hand made including the dessert baking, bread and buns. Consistently been this way since 1924.
This was one of my best of 10 retro diners on Vancouver Island.
