YOU ARE INVITED!!! The 27th Induction Ceremony for the Cambridge Sports Hall of Fame will occur tomorrow adjacent to our Hall of Fame in the Cambridge Centre. The Induction will begin at 1:00 p.m. and we hope that many citizens of Cambridge will attend to help celebrate the athletic heritage of our city. The new inductees include five athletes, two builders and three teams. Athletes - Figure skater Bryce Davison, track & field sprinter Chris Robinson, multi sport endurance athlete Debbie Bulten and gymnasts Michaela Gerber and her sister Aisha Gerber Builders - University of Waterloo women’s golf coach Carla Munch-Miranda and Cambridge sport community superstar George Hill Teams - The 1909-1911 Galt Professional Hockey Club, the 1931 Inter County Baseball Champion Galt Terriers and the 1983 & 1984 Junior Inter County Baseball Champion Cambridge Bulldogs.
