*Women's Pelvic Health Study Opportunity in Cambridge*

Researchers at the University of Ottawa want to understand how the function of the pelvic floor muscles (i.e., your “Kegel” muscles) change with age and how their function might be related to pelvic health symptoms. 1 in 2 women will experience a pelvic health condition (e.g., urine leakage and pelvic organ descent) over the course of their lifetimes, and risk for developing these conditions also increases as you get older. Our hope is that by improving our understanding through this aging study, we can guide future research that will develop new treatment and management strategies for age-associated pelvic health conditions.

This study is currently accepting participants for assessments in both Cambridge and Kitchener.

Please contact me at [email protected] if you have any questions or are interested in participating. More information about our group and the study details can be found at our linked webpage.
