American Robin foraging for breakfast this morning in downtown Kitchener. I managed to catch the steps of locating and picking up a bit of food from the grass. The last three photos are frames from the video. You may have to open/click on photos to see captions.

NOTE: I saw this bird nearby because my cat, who goes out with me like a dog on a leash, crouched into the hunting cat mode. I looked to see what it saw and found this beautiful bird. Male, I believe, because of the bright colours.
